Our accredited certificate, degree and professional development (CPD) programmes provide people with the knowledge and skills required to manage effectively in challenging and ever-changing environments. We offer Higher and Further Education programmes in the areas of Social Care, Disability service provision and Management (Human Services), at levels 5 through 8 on the National Framework of Qualifications.
We have spent over 27 years working as education and training experts with over 220 organisations nationally and internationally. In that role we have combined extensive first-line experience with a detailed knowledge of the strategic and operational dynamics of the contexts within which we work.
From that we have developed a range of bespoke tools, methodologies and models that are aimed specifically at people in human services and non-profit organisations and provide us with a unique perspective on these sectors. This drives how we develop our programmes of education and training but it is also the foundation on which our consultancy and partnership services are built.
Supports are put in place to facilitate the acquisition of knowledge and encourage the development of a learning community that is both mutually supportive and provides a mechanism for linking learning to real world experience. This is something that is at the heart of the expert-led inputs which are designed to facilitate the application of knowledge in the workplace.
Our award winning elearning platform offers complete flexibility for students who are balancing work, family and study commitments on a daily basis. It is based on a blended learning model that combines online learning with expert-led workshops. The eLearning component makes use of the college’s open supported learning model which prioritises the learner in the learning experience. Materials are created in a way that allows people build their study around their work schedule thereby reducing the pressures of combining work with study.
