DBS Unveils New Brand Identity

In June 2019 DBS unveiled its new brand identity and strategic plan. Our vision is that DBS will be the most respected, diverse and progressive higher education institution in Ireland, renowned globally for making a difference and creating successful careers.
Our distinctiveness comes from our career-orientated teaching and learning. We are recognised for the impact of our employer-led programmes, our practice-based teaching and learning, our academic quality, and our innovative approach. This impact is evidenced by the academic outcomes of our students, their progression to employment or further education, and their satisfaction with their experience while students at DBS.

DBS Online

We are proud to offer an integrated suite of easy-to-access Professional Diploma courses delivered online. DBS Online courses are presented by leading subject matter experts, who provide a supportive learning experience that is available from anywhere in the world.

Live Online courses are taught in recorded weekly scheduled classes, using a cloud based app called Zoom that works on any device. In addition, DBX courses use the Moodle learning management system to bring the class and teacher together for activities and to access resources. These easy-to-use technologies combine to ensure a fully interactive, flexible learning environment.

Springboard+ at DBS

We are proud to offer a number of Government funded Springboard+ programmes. DBS offers one year part-time programmes are in the areas of ICT, Big Data, Digital Marketing, IT & Finance among others. They are delivered part-time for people who are employed and also allow applicants who are on social welfare payments, return to employment and continue with the part-time programmes after securing employment. The programmes are either free, or 90% government funded.

New Programmes

DBS has always placed a strong emphasis on the provision of courses that are linked to employment opportunities. We continue to do this by developing programmes in collaboration with industry partners and staying ahead of our competitors in recognising the skills that will be required for employment now and into the future.

Some examples of new programmes at DBS include the MSc FinTech, BA (Hons) Audio Production & Music Project Management and MSc in Business Analytics.
