The @heca_irl Twitter account is operated and managed by the Higher Education Colleges Association (HECA) and will post updates about HECA such as press releases, news, reports, launches, conferences, member events and other beneficial information on Higher Education. @heac_irl is intended to be an effective broadcast tool to share information with people who are interested in Higher Education and particularly, the private Higher Education sector.

The Twitter account will be updated and monitored regularly.

We welcome and will read all messages to our @heca_irl account, however, we won’t be able to reply to them all. Please do not include personal/private information in your tweets to us. This is for the protection of your personal data and private information.

Retweets may be used to highlight relevant appropriate announcements, particularly those by HECA members, Government bodies and educational organisations. We will also use them to highlight interesting publications and debates about Higher Education. If we do follow a Twitter account, it does not imply endorsement. If we unfollow, we are simply tidying our timeline. Retweets do not imply endorsement. We won’t be participating in political debates/discussions.
