HECA Research Conference 2025 - Call for Abstracts

We are pleased to invite abstract submissions for the fourth annual HECA Research Conference, taking place on 11 November 2025 at Dublin Business School.

Conference Theme
Thriving in the Digital Age: AI, Education & Wellbeing for a Resilient Ireland

This year’s theme reflects on how technology, artificial intelligence, educational practice, and mental wellbeing are shaping a more resilient Ireland in an era of rapid digital transformation. The conference will provide a space to explore the opportunities and challenges presented by this evolving landscape. 

The event will highlight research topics aligned with this important theme, particularly within (but not limited to) the following areas:

• Technology and Artificial Intelligence
• Education and Pedagogy
• Wellbeing and Mental Health
• Business, Innovation, and the Future Economy
• Sustainability and Environmental Challenges
• Humanities in the Digital Era

Who Should Submit
We encourage staff, students, and alumni from HECA member institutions to share their research. Whether you are presenting early-stage ideas or completed work, the conference is a chance to showcase your contribution, learn from others, and build new connections across disciplines.

• Abstracts should aim for 250-300 words.
