At a national level, HECA works in partnership with The National Forum to help shape developments in teaching and learning enhancement across the Irish higher education sector. The National Forum is currently developing its strategy for 2019-2021. This strategy will determine where their resources and attention are focused over the next three years. The work arising from the strategy will inform teaching and learning policy and practice in the years to come.
It is crucial that the National Forum strategy is informed by those who learn, teach, lead, develop policy or shape practice in Irish higher education.
The strategy will focus on four key priorities:
- The professional development of those who teach
- Teaching and learning within disciplines
- Teaching and learning in a digital world
- Enabling student success
The National Forum invite your feedback to help to shape and inform our strategic goals and actions within these key areas. Closing date is November 30th, 2018.
